How much do I love Barley & Birch? More and more every day.
For one thing, the founder Of Barley & Birch, and really the whole team, are the nicest people you could ever know.
Secondly, Barley & Birch has amazingly soft 100% organic cotton tees with some of the most distinctive and vibrant graphic designs available to eco-conscious consumers. Their entire line of clothing includes organic hats, one pieces, lap tees, tanks, pants, and tees, plus some amazing wovens and new designs for the fall! Everything is scientist-created, artist-designed, and made in the USA using 100% certified organic cotton and water-based inks.
For another, Barley & Birch is out to change the world. At least 15% of their profits go to several carbon-reducing initiatives to fully offset the carbon emissions that result from the production of their clothing. They choose to work with manufacturers and suppliers that are largely powered by solar energy. The company is largely paper-free and any paper they do use is 100% post-consumer recycled. They really take their commitment to the environment seriously. Additionally, at least 15% of their profits go to organizations that improve people’s lives around the world.
My boys love the Barley & Birch tees that I bought for them last year. I tried taking some nice photos of them wearing theirs, but they are in an interestingly awkward stage when it comes to having their picture taken. Oh well, you get to see them anyway…
