It is inevitable. Children grow. They need new shoes, new clothes, new supplies. According to the EPA, 11.1 million tons of clothes & shoes are trashed in the U.S. each year. That is an astounding number that could be avoided if we were more conscientious about what we buy in the first place and what we do with our clothing once done.
