While many eco-chic or crunchy mamas don’t necessarily want a lot of stuff, there are a few things that make our hearts go pitter-patter. For mothers, mothers of your children, girlfriends, and best friends, there is something in this list for everyone. While I wouldn’t say no to a tumbling composter, that isn’t typically on every girl’s list or price range (and I do love my pretty things as well). Mod Cloth is perhaps my most controversial choice. What I love about MOd Cloth is their commitment to vintage, thrifty finds as well as indie designers. They support the up and coming artists creating fabulous clothes and most are Made in the USA, but they support artisans across the globe – fairly and with respect.

Etsy is the vast handmade marketplace where you can support real artisans creating amazing products. Etsy says they are bringing heart to commerce and making the world more fair, more sustainable, and more fun and I wholeheartedly agree.
