Words, books, love, and a call for submissions.

What have you been doing lately? I have been up to (well above my head really) limits with personal health issues and all that comes with planning for a major surgery.

I am trying to live my life spending lots of my time, quality time, with my little ones because I am not sure how present I will be in the next several weeks, months.

Wordstock 2011

Baby girl and I were able to go check out the Wordstock Festival this weekend. Wordstock is an annual festival of books, writers, and storytelling in Portland, Oregon. This year, Knowledge Universe hosted a special children’s activity area and children’s literature stage, where we ended up spending most of our time.

Because of this, I am working on something really exciting that I can’t wait to share with you all!

Until then, I am sending out a call for submissions to publish while I am recovering. I will have articles and posts written ahead of time, but I know that I have some fabulously talented readers, friends, and family that need a push to write something new, something different, something….

Comments on this post are closed. I want you to email me with a post idea. Don’t think I am not talking to you because I am. You all have something great to share with the world. Decide what that is and hit send on that email addressed to almostallthetruth @ gmail dot com.

Send your ideas right away, but the deadline for finished pieces is November 5th. Plenty of time!
