My family and I went to Lopez Island last week and had a fabulous time. We had a family reunion with my grandma, aunts, uncles, cousins, and their kids. I believe there were around 40 of us running around that tiny island. No cell phones, no internet (besides a quick trip to the library to print, sign, and fax some papers), and no tv. It was wonderful!

My favorite thing? The Lopez Island Farmer’s Market. From the local organic coffee to the lavender sold by the high school French Club to the delicious wood-fired pizza, everything looked amazing. The community there is equally amazing. I have never experienced such warm, friendly people. Go and see it for yourself!
