A few weeks ago, I had the amazing experience of going on a T’ai Chi retreat to the beach with some amazing women. It was a weekend of relaxation, self-awareness, healing, food, and fun. We have been practicing T’ai Chi together for about a year and have come to develop a supportive bond that has been simply wonderful for me (and I hope for us all).
Especially on a day like today when someone is leaving, snow may be coming, and pain is a constant, I wanted to share these photos…

This looks lovely! So wonderful to find a little community, especially when things are tough. Wish you well!
Thank you. It really is important to find a community of support. No matter what we are trying to do in our lives (get healthy, greener living, make a difference) it is so much better to do it with a group standing beside you.
Oh man, the pictures are lovely and a T’ai Chi retreat sounds absolutely heavenly.

Thanks Kristen! Do you practice T’ai Chi?
Looks gorgeous! I’ve never practiced T’ai Chi, but from what I’ve seen of it- I don’t think I’d be very good. I’m sort of a klutz and not very graceful. Everyone seems very graceful that does it.
I think that the practice teaches more grace. I have only been working at it for about a year, but all of us have come amazingly far in that amount of time. I wouldn’t have thought it way back when we first started!
I love your pictures. I especially like the one of the brick path and the misty rocks. It sounds like you going through some rough times, I hope you feel better soon. :)
Thanks so much Sherry, I appreciate the kind words!
Those photos are FABULOUS! Looks like an amazing weekend!
