Wordless Wednesday: Spring in the neighborhood

Well Spring in this neighborhood has been less than sunny, so I wasn’t about to wander too far with my beloved camera. But you can still see the signs of Spring and a sense of my older neighborhood anyway…

Muddy Children

Little Yellow Flowers

New Blueberries

Pink Azaleas

Pretty Weeds

The Flower Tree

The Neighbor's Flowering Tree

Wordless Wednesday: Spring has sprung in bright colors

Break open a cherry tree and there are no flowers, but the spring breeze brings forth myriad blossoms.  ~Ikkyu Sojun

Spring Flowers

No matter how long the winter, spring is sure to follow.

Spring is here. Spring is here!

We have had a less than interesting winter here in the northwest and I am a little disappointed in the lack of snow we have seen, but seeing the bright spots of color popping up everywhere makes my heart happy. I can’t wait for Spring projects, Spring cleaning (if you can believe it), and getting back outside more!

What are you looking forward to this Spring?

Wordless Wednesday: Spring flower counting

Spring is almost here! We were able to get in a short walk yesterday after a downpour. We all need our outside time! The 5 year old and I counted the different types and colors of flowers we saw along the way. Including a beautiful camellia. The 3 year old was much more interested in counting garbage cans. What can I say, he loves anything related to garbage trucks- “Garbage trucks are very helpful!”
